Logbook Servicing

A logbook service is a comprehensive service provided by the manufacturer with a warranty against defects,  commonly called a logbook or manufacturer's warranty. The book has requirements that show your warranty will remain valid until a limited period. However, the contract is voided, if you don't get your vehicle regularly checked. The car usually needs to service at an authorised inspection centre under a certified mechanic. He records and stamps this servicing in your vehicle's logbook.

You may also extend warranties on new cars when your manufacturer's warranty finishes. It is good to get the servicing of your vehicle during the warranty period, as an independent repairer during the warranty period will void the contract.
